Sabinus Nola is a father of four and a debut novelist. His dream of having a big family has come true, although he didn’t quite realise what was truly required to manage four fully energised children.

Sabinus is also a technologist, bookworm, and fitness geek. He has travelled to many places, worked on all continents, and sees himself as a cosmopolitan citizen. He does his best to raise and educate his children to the best of his ability.

Today’s fast-paced world is very different from the 1980s and 1990s, when Sabinus was cycling around and listening to his Walkman with auto-reverse function (for younger readers, this was a feature on cassette players that automatically switched between both sides of the tape – each side typically held 60 or 90 minutes of audio content, often with different music or recordings on each... and yes, back then there were no MP3 players; they came later). Sabinus was even a proud owner of a Discman – a portable CD player with a 3-second anti-shock system!
